Abstract
Purpose: In this study, we investigated the effect of personalized LED light on reduction for visual fatigue by an ERP analysis.

Methods: 23 adults determined the personalized LED light colors they felt most comfortable with. Their EEGs were investigated after 2 hour reading task under the personalized LED light colors. The white LED light with the same illumination intensity as the personalized LED light colors was used as a control light.

Results: The peak amplitude of P3 component in Cz channels performed in the personalized LED light experiment was estimated higher than that obtained from the control conditions. There is no statistical significance (p>0.05). However, the peak amplitude of P3 component in Pz channels performed in the personalized LED light experiment was much higher and faster than that obtained from control conditions, which was statistically significant(p<0.05).

Conclusions: This result showed that eye fatigue can be reduced under the personalized LED light condition and provide good basic data for improvement of learning environment.
